This fall, Lisa Levine and the Hersh Group are proud to be sponsors of the Bannockburn Music Festival 2017! The annual event showcases local musical talent in the Bannockburn neighborhood of Bethesda, MD, while raising funds for the maintenance of the historic Bannockburn community clubhouse. Lisa and her husband, David, are longtime neighbors and enthusiastic supporters of this great event, and we’re delighted to join them. Bonus: This year, the festival spans TWO days. It’s a great way to celebrate the Bannockburn community, local musicians and vendors, and a fun fall weekend, with a terrific lineup of local bands and artists each day. Buy a pie now, pick it up on November 21st, and celebrate the holiday while supporting this worthy cause! This Thanksgiving, serve a holiday pie that will warm your heart and help your neighbors. Each pie you purchase provides breakfast, lunch and dinner for a child or adult battling HIV/AIDS, cancer or another critical illness. Six days a week, Food & Friends provides nutritious meals to thousands of individuals in our community but they can’t do it without our support. As enthusiastic supporters of PetConnect Rescue, we’re delighted to announce that we are co-sponsoring PetConnect’s signature fall fundraising event, Wine, Whiskers & Wags, as we continue to support this worthy organization in their efforts to match loving pets with their forever homes and families. Please join us for an evening of wine tasting, music and entertainment! When: Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Where: Old Angler’s Inn – 10801 MacArthur Blvd, Potomac, MD 20854 Enjoy tasting fine wines and interacting with adoptable dogs who will be on hand to greet the guests. A silent auction, raffle, entertainment, and our specialty drinks will round out an evening devoted to ensuring that these rescued pets are safe and secure. Proceeds from the evening will benefit PetConnect Rescue. Old Angler’s Inn, built in 1860 to serve those traveling to and from the nation’s capital via the C & O Canal, is the perfect setting for our early autumn event. We had a fantastic time last Saturday when we co-sponsored our Puppy Love dog adoption event in Bethesda with PetConnect Rescue, thanks to the tireless efforts of our teammate, Lisa Levine. Lisa’s third event with our partners at Westwood Pet Center and PetConnect was a tremendous success, with many of the dogs finding new families and their forever homes on Saturday.
