Lisa grew up in Nashville, TN. She earned her B.A in Art History from Colorado College and Barnard College and did post graduate work at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London where she learned the Art Auction business. Lisa began her professional career working for the National Endowment for the Arts as a grants coordinator in the Visual Arts Program, then as an art consultant and interior decorator.
Lisa’s vast artistic talents and passion for detail and customer service made her a real estate natural. She joined Long & Foster Real Estate in 1995 and began selling residential real estate in DC and the Maryland suburbs until 2002, when she took a hiatus to raise her family, consult, and volunteer. Lisa returned to real estate in 2014, bringing with her years of experience in marketing and staging homes for sale and negotiating the best deal for her buyers and sellers. She loves guiding first-time home buyers through their initial purchase, assisting suburban dwellers in making the transition to urban living, and helping sellers get top dollar for their homes.
A resident of the Washington, DC area since 1984, Lisa and her family have lived in Bannockburn, Bethesda, since 1997. She is an avid tennis player and regularly competes in USTA matches around the area. She savors time spent with family and friends both near and far and loves traveling, long walks with her adorable dog, Leo, and being active in her local community.
